Danielle Steel, Elizabeth Arden Launch New Fragrance

Danielle Steel celebrated the launch of her new fragrance Danielle by Danielle Steel with Elizabeth Arden Inc., the company that developed and markets the scent, at a celebration in New York City. Author Danielle Steel, known for her best-selling novels, of which she has sold more than 560 million copies, wanted to introduce her readers to another dimension of her creative life — and collaborated with Elizabeth Arden on the development of a new fragrance. Steel said, “This is a wonderful opportunity to introduce my readers to another dimension of my creative life. Fragrances represent so many of the aspects of life that my characters experience — commitment, love, emotion.” In September of 2005, Elizabeth Arden signed an exclusive global licensing agreement with Danielle Steel, to develop and market her own line of fragrance products. Danielle by Danielle Steel is launching now in select department and specialty stores, including Macy’s, Belk and Sephora.
